Masungi Georeserve – is one of the best attractions in Rizal Philippines.  It is situated in the Sierra Madre mountain range in Baras, Rizal that is nature conservation center. It features stunning limestone peaks, lush rainforest and caves with stalactite and stalagmite formation. 

You can explore the whole area by walking on hanging bridges above the limestone. The most popular attraction is the Sapot (Cobweb), a metal netting above the limestone. You can also explore the diverse landscape by over looking it through city skyline. 

2. Pinto Art Museum

Pinto Art Museum is  one of most tourist spot in Antipolo that is located inside a two-hectare botanical garden, an open air exhibition of large art collection that was founded in 2010 by a Filipino Neurologist Dr. Joven Cuanang. 

It features paintings, sculptures and artworks from different Filipino artists like Elmer Borlongan, Geraldine Javier and Marina Cruz that spread across the various white buildings that resemble Mediterranean architecture. It contains massive yet well curated collection of art installations that in every gallery has a special distinction. Inside the museum there are two areas to eat, Pinto Café in the garden area and Café Tan-aw, a roof deck area near the entrance.

3. Pililla Wind Farm

 Pililla Wind Farm – the newest tourist spot windmill in Rizal. These large structures are as tall as 33-story building or 125 meters that on the rolling hills sit 27 giant wind turbines that provide clean energy in Manila. It also brings clean wind energy to 66,000 households approximately.

You will enjoy the cool strong gusts of wind that the turbines turn into electricity. They are strategically scattered over the mountains overseeing the Laguna Lake. An ideal setting for a wind farm because of the unique geographical features surrounding the lake.

The best time to visit the farm is during sunset when the golden rays of the sun that make its way through the windmills.

4. Mt. Daraitan

7. Angono - Binangonan Petroglyphs

  1. Angono – Binangonan Petroglyphs – are known for its oldest artworks  and one of the important historical site in Rizal. In the mountainside of Angono and Binangonan there are images that were carved into the wall of solid rock that measures 25 meters and 3.7 meters from the ground. The images of 127 human and animal figures like stylized human fuigures, frogs and lizards are said to be associated with magic and healing. The site is sacred for indigenous Tagalog folk religion believed to be a home of anitos. The archaeologists believed that they were made during the Neolithic period. It was declared by the National Museum of the Philippines as a National Cultural Treasure in 1973 and also included in the list of the World nventory of Rock Art in 1985.



8. Avilon Zoo

Avilon Zoo – the largest collection of animals in the Philippines and it is located in Barrio San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal. It has 7.5 hectare facility, 3,000 specimens of exotic wildlife and more than 600 types of mammals, birds, reptiles, freshwater fish, amphibians and invertebrates. It is a diverse collection  of Philippine native fauna. The large arrays of animals are in the center that are endemic to the country. 

It is also a home to a diverse collection of plants which are endemic to the country. You can feed some species  like arapaimas, exotic water fowl, giant tortoises, wild horses and deer and get closer to them. 

9. ATV Adventure Rizal

ATV Adventure Rizal – is located along Sapinit Road in Antipolo. It is known for its adrenaline-pumping activity by riding across the rugged terrain and muddy trails of lush forests. 10. Hinulugang Taktak

Hinulugang Taktak – is located in Antipolo City that has 70 feet tall waterfall and 84 feet in width. This beautiful waterscape was named as such because a large bell (taktak) was dropped (hinulog) into the 15th or 16th century. 

It was thrown because of the loud sound when it was rung after that incident the falls became protected and a national park. You can also try hanging on the bridges amid the canopy of trees in the park.
