Patong Beach is one of Phuket most popular destination. With over 3 kilometers long stretched of golden white sand beach , it offers wide variety of activities and nightlife. Visitors can enjoy local street food, massages on the beach like reflexology, neck and shoulder tension massage , and also enjoy the mountains surrounding the area. The street along the beach is planted with various trees and palms provides nice mild breezes.
Patong Beach Phuket is a great place to sunbathe and read a good book during the day and watch a beautiful sunset. You can also enjoy a nice leisurely walk along the famous Bangla road with lots of restaurants, shops , spas, and beach resorts, and hotels. It offers plenty of activities like parasailing, jetskiing, boat rides and beach vendors. You can also choose from wakeboarding, kayaking and windsurfing. Along the beach road has plenty of parking spaces for scooters and motorcycles.
Patong Beach Phuket was once a small fishing village with traditional Thai huts and houses, but is now a developed city filled with vibrant nightlife, cabaret shows, and dazzling clubs and pubs. The beach is overcrowded full of tourist and the Bangla Road is noisy. By night, the town has bustling nightlife ideal for party lovers.

A stroll around the area during the day is great and we had a fabulous time admiring the beach and the hills scenery. We also tried some of the beachfront restaurant and purchased a toy for my daughter from one of the street vendor . Its a vibrant and busy town and notorious for its nightlife, however the beach is wonderful.
